From August 9-18, participating restaurants will be offering multi-course fixed price menus highlighting local producers, growers, distillers and brewers over the course of the ten-day festival period.
These restaurants range from casual to fine dining and everything in between. Each menu has recommended local pairings from the craft breweries and distilleries across Alberta (not included in pricing).
Course 1Classic risotto topped with baby carrots cooked in Sylvan Star Smoked Gouda broth, charred eggplant and fresh herbs.Course 2Duck with parsnip, fresh peas, leek, pork belly and a red wine honey jus. Course 3Frozen Evan’s Cherry Cake with dark chocolate mousse and crème fraiche.
